Merry Christmas from fra Kasprzak Dressage22-12-2019 - 10:45

We are feeling thankful for the past year and are looking forward to 2020.

2019 has been an exciting, but different year in the stables in Haderslev. The daily work with the horses included new challenges.

In 2018, Anna decided to let her long term competition partner, Donnperignon, retire. Therefore 2019 has been all about creating new bonds and healthy routines with new horses. In particular, Anna has been working a lot with two new horses, Addict and Fuhur.

Addict de Massa, bought from Helgstrand Dressage, moved in in the springtime, while Fuhur, a Russian superstar formerly ridden by Elena Sidneva, came to Kasprzak Dressage in November.

“I have had to start over with two new and younger horses, and in addition to this I am first and foremost a parent. This year has been about creating routines and practice a lot,” Anna says. She is looking back at 2019 with pleasure despite lots of new challenges.

“I have actually been really comfortable with the fact that 2019 has been about practicing. The pressure of competing has been minimal, which has been nice.”

Anna is looking forward to an exciting 2020, where a qualification to the Olympics in Tokyo is her biggest wish. This means she has to compete regularly from now on, and she is already planning to take both Addict and Fuhur to a national event in Hedensted in February.

The whole team behind Kasprzak Dressage wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year!
