Jane Kallestrup celebrates 10 years at Kasprzak Dressage28-02-2020 - 09:00

"I don't know what I would do without her," Anna says.

On March 1st 2010 a new employee had her first day at Kasprzak Dressage. Back then, the stables, which are now housing Kasprzak Dressage, was still under construction and was about to open the following Summer, while Anna's horses were stabled at Dalby Rideklub near Kolding. Anna was competing with her horse Blue Hors Future Cup and 2010 was the year, they won the European Championship for Young Riders. That happened with a new groom by Anna's side - Jane Kallestrup.

This Sunday Jane is celebrating her ten year anniversary as a groom at Kasprzak Dressage.

Being asked what Jane means to her, Anna is not hesitating:

"I'm usually write Jane a brief note in her Christmas card every year telling her: 'Jane, you are indispensable.' And I can't say it clearer. I don't even know what to do without her," Anna says.

Jane has been a loyal support for Anna on a daily basis and following her around the world for competitions for ten years including two Olympic Games, the World Equestrian Games, European Championships, the national championship and World Cup qualifications to name a few. And everywhere they go Anna is completely secure about Jane always doing the right thing.

"She is so independent and I feel so safe when she is around. Jane has got everything under control, and if she has the smallest doubt about anything, she'll call me."

Safe to say Anna hopes this anniversary for Jane is just one out of many.

"We know each other so well, and Jane knows my opinion on everything regarding the horses. I really hope we will be sharing many more years working together."
