2018 is all about new experiences01-01-2018 - 12:15

2018 has a lot to offer both professionally and private for Anna Kasprzak.

In 2018 the first breeding projects by Kasprzak Dressage are ready to be ridden. Both Strawberry and Falcon turn 3 this year and Stine, who was hired recently, will be in charch of breaking them in. Stine has a lot of experience in training and preparing youngsters for riding from her previous job at Bøgega╠Őrden.

”I am very excited to see how the training will work out and if these horses will fit my style according to their temper and size. The whole process will be fun to follow,” Anna says.

In the end of April this year Anna is due with her first child, which will keep her off the horsebacks for an unknown amount of time.

”Becoming a mother is naturally what excites me most about 2018. I will keep riding as long as it feels good and safe, and I hope to be back in the saddle quick after the birth. But I am not going to rush anything,” Anna says.

FEI World Equestrian Games will be held in September at Tryon International Equestrian Centre i North Carolina, USA, but Anna is not sure yet if she will compete.

”I haven't totally excluded the possibility to compete, but is to soon to tell if Quarton or Rock Star will be ready, as I am not offering Pepe such a long trip. And then there is this little one coming in April. So many decisions have to be made.”

One out of two qualifications are already safe by Rock Star, but it is to soon to tell, if Anna will compete in the fall.

”Even before I got pregnant, I did not want to take Pepe on a journey this far. So it all comes out to having the right horse. Baby or no baby, I need to have the right horse ready for competition,” Anna says.
